A lot of energy for very little pepper. This pepper mill takes an age, and a lot of effort, to grind even a few pepper corns. It's exhausting.

It grinds pepper. What, you want more? Er. its pretty. You put pepper in it. Twist it. And. er, well ground pepper comes out. Nicely done Cole & Mason. *Insomnia is great, eh?
Pretty but ineffective I seem to have had a succession of inadequate pepper mills, and as this was half price when I bought it a few months ago, I thought it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, it has also failed to deliver and is bound for the next boot sale. I prefer coarsely ground pepper, but this only seems to be able to deliver finely ground, and even that is after great effort. Tonight, my 14 year old son asked when we going to get a decent pepper mill. I think that about sums it up.
