Signicant improvement For the money, a great upgrade. Undoubtedly spending more (eg the Qunex TTV TV at 25 quid or so) will make a correspondingly larger difference, but the principle is established: upgrading the aerial lead can significantly improve your picture. Give this one a try at a pocket money price, and if you want more improvement, consider a further upgrade.
Bad quality. The quality is of pictures did not change much in comparision with the 1£ lead. Returned back. Bought one from maplins for 9£ which is excellent.
Not quite perfect The first thing which attracted me to these leads was the price; normally shielded coaxial leads with gold-plated connecters retail for at least double the price of these. When they arrived, I was also impressed by the quality of the manufacturer's packaging. These leads look and feel well made and, for me, they have provided a marked improvement in digital picture quality, and have noticeably reduced signal interference from other devices. Good affordable upgrade for your Freeview STB? My freeview set-top-box has suffered occasionally from a poor signal, especially during certain weather conditions, which causes the picture and audio to break-up. I suspected I may be getting interference from other devices so decided to give this better-shielded cable a try.
