In a nutshell: The ultimate evolution of virtual pet: Nintendogs gives you opportunity to preen and look after a selection of cute puppies in a virtual home, with virtual currency, where you can buy toys and accessories for their enjoyment. You can clean the pups, feed them, walk them, play catch with them, and even talk to them.
The lowdown: Nintendogs is brimming with character. Each pup looks out from the DS touchscreen and paws longingly. You can respond to your virtual pet's need of attention by stroking the screen, using items such as balls and brushes with the aid of the stylus, and talking to your dogs through the DS's inbuilt microphone system. Impressive 3D graphics give lifelike animation to these canine wonders.
Most exciting moment: After a few attempts to speak commands into the microphone, your puppy understands the meaning of "sit", barks approval, and sits down. It's good to talk.
Since you ask: You can keep three pups in your home at any time. When left to their own devices, they'll play and play-fight together. And they call this 'puppy love'.

Enjoyable!!!!!!! This game is brilliant! When you first get your dog you have to play with it so that it gets settled in then you have to think of a name and say it into the mic a few times so that it gets to know its name. Then you have to call your dog over to you a few times. After that you are free to do whatever you want with your dog like going to competitions, taking it for walks, washing it, feeding and grooming it. You can also buy another dog if you want to.

Brilliant! I got this game for christmas with my ds. My dad chose it and I think it was a great choice. You get to buy a puppy and train it lots of tricks. When you train your puppy's name it can be hard but you'll get through it. Its fun going on walks but don't let your puppy eat rubbish! I love going in contests. There are three different types. Best game eva.... Wow, this is an awsome game! its the first game i ever got, i was on it all the time!! I love choosing the dogs and houses and getting all the new stuff as you play the game. The compatitions are cool - my dogs get first in the champeonship all the time, i get 1000 coins for winning it!!
If you cant decide on a DS game, man, you need to get this 1!!
One of the best games This games is great! Not only can you take your dog for a walk, feed and groom, you can also enter him/her into competions. It's great having to earn money to buy things for your dog and buy new dogs! The more training points you earn the more becomes availble to buy (i.e. room themes more breeds of dog!) and keeps you entertained for hours!
