A really good sequel. Michael Keaton and Tim Burton return to make this great film. Danny DeVito plays a great Penguin, even though The Penguin wasn't my favourite Batman villian. After the success of the first Batman film, I thought that this one couldn't match it, but I was wrong. A great plot, a great script and a great cast. Highly recommended for fans of the first film, and anything Batman.
Visually stunning, but too uneven for me I thought parts of this were superb, and again Tim Burton delivers a very beautiful vision of a dark, sinister city. It's very enjoyable and worth having on DVD, but overall I didn't think it worked as well it should have.
Superb In short-Refreshing excellently acted, beautifully shot, superb design, dark, violent. This is a superb take on the batman, where Burton again uses his own vision of what he believes batman to be. I am a batman fan of twenty years and this was excellent, in anybody elses hands I think there changed vision of catwoman and the penguin and Gotham would annoy me. But Burton does it with skill. Batman isn't for kids. Superb. And thats coming from a real batman geek!

Keaton and Pfiffer are both sexy, funny and play their parts to a T. Batman kills a couple of bad guys (including the Penguin and a fat clown) which is against type. Apart from these 2 things as a Batman fan I love it. Danny DeVito is brilliant as the Penguin. Starting on from were Jack's Joker left off as a funny yet... more info
