an overpriced product but if you need it you need it it does what it says on the tin. it connects many ipods to your pc or mac. it is not universal though. it has a multitude of adaptors that can be used with it so you have to keep changing them anytime you use a different ipod. the remote is a waste of time so don't bother as the menu function only works on a mac not the ipod. i won't be throwing it away, but i won't be raving about it either
At least its a universal dock Essentially this is just the latest version of the proven iPod dock. Yes, it has an IR port that is compatible with the new iPod remote, but other than that the look and design is unchanged. It reasonably well built, solid and does what it says on the box.

But there's no cable. How mean can Apple be? Everything you can do with this dock requires a... more info
Yes... Its a dock hmmm... not much to say hear really appart from maybe apple could have include this with the i-pod, like they did with the 3rd gen version. The dock can be plugged into your computer via the usb (if you dont have a mac ;) cable that comes with your i-pod, or it can be hooked up to the mains to charge... but, dont be fooled because IT DOESN'T COME WITH A MAINS ADAPTOR! you need to buy this seperatly. This is a well made product that does the job, it's just not worth the benjamins
