Garmin Nuvi 350T Review I replaced my Tom Tom 300 Go with the Garmin Nuvi 350T which has now irritated me so much I have already replaced it with a Tom Tom 530T. The Nuvi 350T forces you to accept a safety message each time you start it, then it doesn't look for satellites until after you have typed in the destination on a non-qwerty keyboard, swapping back and forth to a separate numeral keyboard as necessary, and then is slow to lock on. It gives verbal lane and roundabout exit information too late for safety, uses feet and not... more info
£99? I bought this about two years ago for £230 and I am very happy with it. It has led me through European and British towns without fault. It would be nice if the speed was on the main screen and it does take its time to find the satellites on start up but at this price it is an absolute bargain.
Tom Tom killer! Been using this for a good 6 months now and had no problems. Very useful to have the unit read out the actual road names as opposed to just blarting out "take the next left". You can actually navigate by voice alone when road names are read out. The only downside to this unit is the boot-up time, which can be a bit slow. But if you can live with that....
Excellent Sat Nav Excellent value for money, and having the street names announced as well is a very handy feature. The speed camera functions is very good, and adds more safety to the roads for everyone. More than pleased with this Sat Nav so far. I am pleased to recommend this product.
