Over-rated I too fell in love with GHD's but soon realised they are extremley overated and expensive. I bought my GHD's and they only lasted me 2 years (I only used them once a week to prevent damage to my hair), turns out there was a common fault with them and they had been fined by trading standards due to saftey hazards. As you can see from GHD's very large marketing budget, that they are a definite rip off, i admit they were the first to bring out ceramics however now the competition is wide open. Works wonders Ahh.. after reading all these comments, i now realise that its a common fault of GHDs to randomly cut out. I have recently been having problems with my GHDs recently which i have owned for over 4 years now. The power seems to cut out whenever it feels like it and its a real pain. I got so annoyed one day that i started wacking it off my bed and thought it had gone for good. But to my suprise, its still working (when it feels like it).
