Value for Money At less than a fiver, this is a great solution to getting music from your MP3 player to your car stereo. My car stereo will play CD-R's but not MP3's. This solved the problem.
It works with both my Ipod touch and Archos Gmini. The sound quality is not as good as radio or CD, but for the price, I am not complaining. Since buying this, I can see there are similar products that are actually stand alone MP3 players with their own remotes. I will probably invest in one of those gadgets now, which will... more info
Magic I bought this unit to replace an older one whose performance was erratic. I did buy a cheapie that you see advertised over and over again on ebay but it was rubbish. Fortunately I was able to get my money back. This unit is excellent. It is discrete, stays put in the car, and what is especially good is that it runs off the car and never needs batteries. Sound quality (I listen to audio books) is excellent. Can't vouch for its performance with music, but it represents brilliant value.
Dodgy quality Do your self a favour spend some more money.
Rubbish quality especially the cable which is very weak.
PW I have replaced an inferior product which was less well constructed. If you turn up your mp3 player volume to about 90% you get no transmission hiss from the unit, or distortion from the car stereo amp. I have found it very useable, the frequency selection is easy if you have to re-tune on the move. The only difference in quality you might notice is if you are used to a realy high quality in-car hi-fi system where you play cds - but because of the mp3 format and NOT the transmitter.
