It's nothing special but kids go mad for them I bought this as a small 'top up' gift for my son's 6th birthday - he loves it, even though the end product is a little bit of plastic in the shape of a dinosuar that's only and inch or so long... His two-year old sister really went wild for it too, and has kept it under her pillow all week. So although it's nothing special as far as us adults are concerned, it has something about it that kids really go for. It'd make a good stocking filler for Christmas.
Very fun and worth getting I was very happy with this product as i didnt have a huge desire to get it in the first place, which was a very pleasant surprise when i realised how much fun they are ... The dino egg gets dropped into warm water and starts to fizz. It is quite fun and really strange the way the little plastic pieces are left in the bottom of the water container. It is good fun because you can mix and match the pieces and make a new breed. It is also good to look on the scoreboard on the back and see what type the dino is... more info
Great Fun My two sons love these - they quickly get referred to as the smelly dinos as the pleasant soapy smell remains for months and months! Thy love swapping the heads and legs and making up their own names, although beware if you have two dino mad children if one gets one with higher points . . . . . ,
Dino fun This is a great peice of educatonal fun. It's great watching the water fizz and the dinosaur emerge. The bits that you have to put together to make your dino are quite small, so I would recommend putting all the bits into a bowl and also giving them a rinse before building. My daughter is mad about dinosaurs and found a good dino site to find out lots of dino species and info [...]. A worthy gimmick for dino fans.
