Superb People moaning about the software not working properly. like review below, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR COMPUTER THEN! The old version of software did have slight glitch, but you can download new version of software anyway. The player itself is a superb product. light, very reliable, great design and easy to use. Its battery life, is awesome, you can all keep your ipod's as far as i am concerned. I want a product that can last more than a few hours of being switched on. great once sort out software I bought this and attempted to load the sonic stage software on to my lap top and absolutely nothing happened. I tried it on my fathers computer which is not a laptop and it began to install. A bit puzzled I called sony who said that they have since upgraded the software. (so the software that comes with it, is not suitable with laptops) and i was directed to a sony website address to downlaod the latest version 4.3. Took about 2 hours to downlaod. Brilliant Buy I cannot fault this little piece of kit; great sound, good looks and extremely portable. The software has been adequate for my uses although I was having problems with tracks jumping after importing to the library. But I changed the file format to MP3 rather than ATRAC when importing and it seemed to resolve the problem. Fantastic I'v just got my new mp3 going and it is so small and easy to use, I know nothing about computers and managed to install sonicstage with no problems and its really easy to convert your tracks. I can only say that Slov01 is the problem and not the software as its so simple. I would defo recommend this product.
