• Great sound, but lacking in other areas
  First of all I have to say how impressive the sound quality is, I was genuinely blown away by the depth of the bass and the clarity of the mid and upper ranges. I haven't tested its maximum volume but I'm sure its ear shattering. I never expected this from a system costing just £100 (& only 80 quid for the white one). I use it in my bedroom but I'm confident it would serve well as a main lounge stereo.

  I got this as a gift for christmas with a 4gb i-pod nano it took 5 mins to put together (i am a useless with modern stuff) it looks really good and the sound is better than the apple or bose system!! it rocks.

  Monitor Audio are justifiably regarded as one of the finest British manufacturers of high end loudspeakers . So when I came across the ideck system for under a hundred quid I was pretty sceptical to say the least. I decided to to take a flyer and purchased one from our friends at Amazon.   Ordered this item for christmas along with the new 8MG ipod nano - discription stated suitable for all ipods including ipod nano, only to find nano attachment not compatable with the new ipod nano - only the older ones - beware
