One of the worst Digital Camera bought this and few pictures then the battery is gone, replaced with few new ones and same thing, a few pictures and is out of battery, i dont think this should be sold on amazon.

Bought your 8400 Series 1 from Amazon. Takes a fair picture but battery life is grim taking pictures and blink and you miss it trying a film clip. And this is using 2700 NiMH batteries. I've put up with it for 9 months and hence I can't return it, so I'm actually going to flaten it with a sledge hammer to save future frustration.
Good at first... I loved this little camera when I first got it, despite the massive amount of batteries it needs. Having bought rechargeables with it that didn't bother me too much. However, having had it for 6 months it now refuses to turn on, no matter what I do with it. Hacving poked around the internet this is an apparently common fault. Worst camera I've ever owned! Don't buy this! The battery life is awful. With freshly charged batteries, I'm getting 3 flash photos (yes, 3!) Every other feature is irrelevant.
