Ok but that's it. I bought these for my sister to use in her bedroom with her iPod. The sound quality is ok at a reasonable volume, but when listening at low volumes there is an audible hum, and at high volumes the speakers struggle to cope and there can be a significant amount of distortion. No real complaints as they are fairly cheap, but if you want something which can handle a bit more oomph I would go for the Logitech MM50's which IMHO are far better.
Brilliant bit of Kit This does exactly what it says on the tin. It's brilliant. It's loud and the sound is brilliant. I don't use my stereo in the house anymore I just use this. It's easy to use, it's brilliant to take on holiday as well. Money well spent!!!
Oh dear!!! I had 2 Logic3 i-station 7 and sent both of them back!! The sound quality when the machine was down low was awful - I thought the machine was faulty - the back speaker just crackled and it was really off putting. So I sent it back, but the next machine had the same problem - so I concluded it was the machine not a fault. Good or Bad? Its Horses for Courses My daughter wanted a speaker system for her ipod nano and we did the usual shoping around on line. Not for the first time we ended back where we had started, Amazon. I knew a little about them because we bought one for my wife's ipod just a few months ago and we spent a lot of time looking at reviews back then. We spent £150 on an Altec Lansing IM7 (again from Amazon)and its superb. My view is, if you want a serious piece of kit that can deliver high quality sound, spend a litle more. That... more info
