Pathetic file format, slow scroll & terrible screen I bought the 20GB version so as to not be yet another buying the ipod. What a *huge* mistake. 1. Oh so slow at navigating compared to an ipod.
2. You *cannot* see the screen at all in sunlight.
3. Forget buying music from anywhere else - this will not support mp3 formats - just atrac3 - OH!!! - Sony have just announced they're not supporting their own file format anymore. Please - get an ipod - I have. Bought an 80GB Classic today and did something I should have done 2 years ago.more info
nice little player Quite a nice little player, sound quality is good and its pretty small and neat.

Ipod owning friends have mocked at how much Sony's compression squashes each track but I've found the quality to be very impressive on the default settings.
(As with most players, the volume is kept at "safe" levels so search on the internet for the key combinations to get you to the hidden settings to take it off)
I thought 8Mb might not take all of my modest CD collection and I'd... more info
