don't buy this what a waste of money. Reacts to anything but a text or call. had to put it on silent as it was going off about 5 times per minute - I thought I'd suddenly become very popular! If I put can of beer next to it, tardis goes off. Really doing my head in!!!
Not bad, but some misinformation to clear up The TARDIS phone ringer is by no means bad - it's a cute little add-on to your desk and book shelf and has a decent range, and, contrary to some reviews, isn't too quiet at all. The box claims the device isn't compatible with 3G phones, which to my mind is utter nonsense. I had half a dozen 3G phones in the same room as it during a party and it didn't complain. One thing to watch out for however is Bluetooth. Though Bluetooth devices are often idle/passive, the signal can be strong enough... more info
Batteries not included It requires 3 AG13 batteries that are not supplied, so beware if buying as a gift. Thankfully my local market sells a card of button batteries for a pound. This was bought as a bit of fun but it's turned out to be quite practical. Sat on the mantelpiece, it tells us when we have a message, even if I have left the mobile in my coat pocket in the wardrobe. Quite a few false activations though that may be people walking past the house whilst texting! It makes a great Tardis grinding noise when it activates... more info
Its a bit small I purchased this item a while ago and being a doctor who fan a was quite exited but when it came I was disappointed with the size of it very small and not very loud I missed 3 calls because I never heard it go off. I have it on display on my desk thats about all its good for.
