A real gift for your kids This box set is worth every penny. I bought this for my 2 year old daughter who has continued to watch the many epiosodes without getting bored. The joy is that we can re-live it with her and appreciate the subtleties in the immersive worlds of Trumptonshire which we never appreciated when we were kids back in the 70's.
A trip down memory lane I was looking for the theme tunes for the Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick programmes, when I stumbled on this little gem! After watching the first few episodes I happened to mention to my brother about buying and watching them, and now I have been requested to buy a set for him too! A wonderful reminiscence about such a beautiful little world! I'm glad I went hunting around Amazon that day.
Trumptastic I was bought this for christmas and I have been glued to the box since. Any excuse to turn it on and it's on full belt. I've also introduced my 2 1/2 year old daughter to the joys of windy miller, pipin fort and chippy minton (and his son nibs). She loves it. This is truely from an era that unfortunately will never see the light of day again. Brian Cant is a god. For everyone who remmembers the series this is a must, to all those who don't, get it and marvel.
Wonderful Stuff A fantastic trip down memory lane for us adults, and an introduction to some truly classic childrens TV for today's youngsters. If you are fed up with banality and political correctness of childrens shows like Balimory & The Tweenies this is for you. From a bygone more innocent time, the shows have lost none of their ability to charm.
