Dissapointed I am an advertiser's dream, always rush to buy and try something new, especially gadgets as i do love gadgets however, i was not impressed, followed the instructions, did not like the results, found it really hard workJamie Oliver Flavour Shaker shaking get better results with my Mortar and pestle. So I have gone back to that.
Works a treat I found this great for preparing salad dressings. Holds just the right amount and it is great for mashing garlic and herbs. I'm glad I bought it.
Stick to your mortar and pestle I didn't have a problem with it doing what it was meant to but I found it quite awkward to clean (I don't have a dishwasher) especially around the locking mechanism. When it eventually broke I didn't feel too bad as it had been a present which I felt obliged to use. The old fashioned pestle and mortar is FAR simpler to use and a doddle to keep clean.
As Jaime O might say - This is definately not PUKKA!!!!' Good idea, but the two halves don't lock together properly and tend to come apart when shaken vigorously, unless you hold it clamped in two hands. Also I ordered the stainless steel version and they sent the plastic one... Amazon UK is only a shadow of the US version... Maybe Bezos needs to look at how things are operating in the UK/EU... Maybe it should have been made in China and not the EU - haha!!
