• Redundant
  Now that another box set is out containing everything here AND the Christmas specials, this DVD is now a pointless purchase.
  The show itself is fantastic.

• really really funny
  One of the funniest comedies ever. Alison Steadman is superb as the mother in law. cant wait for Worst xmas to be released. shame there is not going to be a third series.

• A REALLY FUNNY NEW COMEDY.
  This series is without doubt one of the funniest new comedy's from the BBC in years. It charts the disaster prone Howard Steele played by Ben Miller as he wreaks havoc all around him. But he is well meaning if not weak willed so he gets in all sorts of scrapes with his poor fiance Mel. Just like Frank Spencer of some thirty odd years previously he tries to do things for people but it always ends in disaster. Mel played by 'Coupling' star Samantha Alexander still loves Howard dispite his accident prone... more info

• Painfully funny
  Both these series were brilliant. Really funny and also really cringeworthy - like so much British comedy. Nothing Howard does is ever right and you feel sorry for him and his long suffering wife. I'm really glad they've done a boxset of these two series - can't wait to get my hands on it.
