Great for any harry potter fan This isnt really a toy its more like a collectable item! It is presented in a beautiful box with velvet, and the wand itself is a really good design. Its quite heavy which is good because it makes it more realistic. I would recommend this wand for any wand collector or for a one off if professor snape is your favourite character!
Should be made of wood I've had this for a while, and the weight and length is good and it feels sturdy. Unfortunately, the wand itself isn't. It snapped at the hilt where the handle meets the staff after only having it a few days, and it has not been handled much. I managed to superglue it back together, and have kept it in the box since, but recently, my partner wanted to look at it, and was mimicking the wand movements from the last film, and the handle snapped in the middle where the two sections of filigree meet. FANTASTICCCCC!!!!! This is a brilliant toy for younger children as it is as real as you can get to the one on the movies. My child was so excited and has'nt stopped using it since. The plastic is hard so if dropped the wand will not break.
Overall this is a Excelent gift for younger children, and a collectors item for the older.
Just what I hoped To me Severus' wand was just what I hoped it would be. I was afraid that it'd be too light in weight or wouldn't seem like the real thing, but it feels just right. I'm very happy with it.
