I am not impressed with either the product or the after sale service Looks nice, but as yet unable to use product. Even though I have windows XP (work computer) I am unable to use this product. Was able to download SonicStage and thats as far as I could get. I could not access any of the drop folders or transfer tab. It took some time to get any feedback from the company that I purchased the product from (via Amazon). There is no telephone contact only e-mails, which took an age. The feedback from the company was that they could not take the product back as it had been used!... more info
Good for music and BBC podcasts - beat the gym blues
I bought this Walkman, my first MP3 player, to help overcome boredom in the gym. I wanted to listen to Radio 4 podcasts and this has been successfully achieved. Music also sounds clear and detailed when using sports earphones (read further).
The FM radio is fine outdoors but worse indoors, hissy in the gym, and overcome by electrical interference when on the cross-trainer. (The `F' at the end of NW-S203F indicates a player equipped with FM radio - not all models have it). The interesting... more info
My first MP3 Player I was hesitant to even make the jump from my trusty old faithful CD player to MP3 player being a bit of a techno fobe and afraid to even tinker with the dials on my Hi-Fi at home incase I ruin it. I read other reviews and as a few mentioned that the headphones were not the best decided to upgrade to Sony sports thingammy bobs that actually stay on my ears when running on the beach .

SPLASHPROOF +++ Accidentally stuck mine in the washing machine, came through absolutely fine. If you are worried about sweating lots or being rained on buy this, but replace the headphones with some proper water resistant ones as the supplied ones got sweated to death within a few weeks.
