don't buy it. just got it today. didn't work at all! i had to hold it funny just to get it to charge, and trying to get it to open in itunes is a lost cause.
You may not get what you think I ordered one of these cables which was described as being made by Apple, (indeed the photo is of a genuine Apple, iPod cable). When it came it was not a genuine Apple cable. I kept it because it works just as well as an Apple cable, but should have been described as such. I note however that even though I came back to this page by clicking on the order I made from my profile that it is now a different seller (was Zoodex when I ordered).
