Rubbish hardware! I bought this based on reviews on Amazon. I guess the others have had a good experience but mine has been awful. I have worked in IT and with comp[uters for over ten years and know what to expect. This device has worked and can work but will stop working sporadically. Sometime the webcam will work, sometimes the microphone will work but rarely both. A search for latest drivers will produce a message "no drivers available" but when you search on the logitech site you find updated drivers. But these don't... more info
A good cheap webcam with resolvable problems Very good camera for the price, I was unsure whether the quality would be good but went ahead and bought it. Very glad i did as the quality is good enough for use on skype which was the main reason for purchase.I have yet to use the microphone as i have a seperate one. I have only given it four stars as the speed is slighty slow, so lips are never synched with sound but this doesnt matter much to me. the only major problem i had on installation was the software supplied when used created severe crackling... more info
A shame The setup for this webcam was very easy, however, when I try to take a photo with it, the screen is black, you can't take a photo on this webcam because, if, for example, you wanted to take a photo of yourself, you can't see yourself on the screen, just blacl, and it won't let you change the brightness and contrast of the webcam. If anyone however knows how to fix this, could you please tell me.
web cam For the price your going to pay, this is a very good webcam, good value for money. It's 100% ideal for making video calls over msn or skype etc. It comes with easily installed software that allows the user to adjust colour, brightness and contrast settings etc. It is very small and looks good on my lcd monitor. It would also fit on my dwnstairs ctr but cannot say for certain this would be the same with all ctrs.
