Its a reasonable, enjoyable workout It does state on the DVD that it is inpired by the film - nowhere does it promise moves or music from the film, although you can work out which moves match which parts of the film. I enjoy the dance moves, the low impact section is a workout if you put the effort in and the high impact definately builds a sweat. The moves are relatively easy to learn as the same moves are repeated in different forms throughout the workout. Only annoying thing is watching the dancer front-left.
Nothing remotely reflecting the film! This 'workout' DVD has to be the worst one I have ever come across. I did not even break a sweat and the instructor is extremely annoying.
I LOVE Dirty Dancing the movie and was so excited when I saw there was a work-out featuring it's music and moves. The music definately does not reflect the movie at all,it sounds like you are on hold with BT! As for the moves, I wouldn't exactly call the grapevine dirty!
Don't buy it!
rubbish Very disappointed!!!! I was expecting something with the look and feel of the film that this is named after. I always feel like sexy dancing along with the credits at the end so this looked great fun. Stark daylight in the studio - boring commentary - boring studio surroundings - as sexy as boiled halibut!! Gave it a couple of stars for actually being a workout although terribly uninspiring.
Keeps you busy while sweating it off... You won't be able to dance with Patric Swaze after exercising but it gives you an idea of the way their moves must feel... They could have added more moves to make it more of a challenge...
