An excellent iPod Alternative I bought this player because as a previous iPod owner I had no intention or purchasing another. In the main this is an excellent product, it is small, light, power efficient and easy to manage and transfer music to. It isn't perfect by any means - the display isn't as refined as the iPod Nano's and the navigation is a little clunkier. Great little player! I have had the Zen V+ for almost a year and thought I ought to add my opinion on it as I have been enormously helped in purchasing items on Amazon by other people's reviews! I totally agree with the majority of people reviewing this mp3 player and have found it to be an excellent little music player, easy to use with a great sound (base not easily heard but this is probably because I have yet to splash out on really good earphones!). not good enough Im on my second vplus the first froze and had to be replaced,now the second one has gone wrong and I`m in the process of getting it fixed/replaced.I`m very disapointed as when it worked it was quite good,but if you use a mp3 alot the last thing you want to do is have to keep sending it away to be sorted!! I wont buy creative again!!!!
Oh Dear . . Another Duff One As some previous reviewers have found, the quality control at Creative leaves a lot to be desired. Only 24 hours after buying mine I'm left with a player that is stuck on the logo screen and won't switch off (unless you leave it until the battery runs flat). The helpline suggestions won't work because they assume you can boot the player into recovery mode, which I can't do as it freezes as soon as the battery starts to charge.
