Very Good Lens This lens has quality written all over it. It comes with a hard plastic hood for the front and back of the lens which then goes into a sturdy, cloth, draw-string bag for extra protection. When you screw the lens on to your camcorder the difference is very impressive. You get far more of your subject and the surroundings into view; this is especially true for indoor filming when you want to get as much of the room into your shot. No problems with this lens I read the reviews above and bought this lens. I had no problems with it. Granted its a bit heavy, but if you are careful there is no issue.
Just a great accessory I purchased a Sony Vcl-HGO737C 0.7 Wide Conversion Lens for my sony
HDR-SR8E camcorder and found it extremely easy to connect and disconnect,
Maybe it is a trifle heavy but found it still it easy to operate the
camcorder when lens attached.
I recently took some amazing footage of a wedding using the wide angled lens therefore I would recommend it anybody thinking of purchasing this item.

i dont have laerge fingers and its loverly haha sorry to the guy above but you must have very large fingers or some disorder with screwing. i bought this lens for my Sony hvr-a1p and well iv been using it loads and guess what.....i can bloody screw the darn thing on.....even in the light, blooming eck and ruddy hell haha. ok yes it is just screwed onto the front of the camera but it works fine and to blame you dropping your lens on the camera is kind of hilarious. the lens works really well and gives you a great wide visual.
