FlyTech Dragonfly flaps its wings like a real insect
The dragonfly can take off from any smooth surface, soar, dive-bomb, hover and glide silently for soft landings
Editorial Review:
Nominated for a Hamleys Awards, with the Dragonfly you're in control of your own flying insect robot. Indoors or outside, it is perfect for dive-bombing your mates or keeping the neighbours on their toes. Dragonfly flutters, swoops, flies and dives at your command. With its ultra-light body and crash-resistant structure, Dragonfly can't do itself (or anything else) any real damage. Dragonfly is rechargeable but you will need 6 x AA batteries for the radio-controller.
Navigating the Dragon Fly is a treat on all levels. As he dips and dives through the air, this little beast is an incredible robot. So it's easy to see why he won the following awards.
POPULAR MECHANICS EDITOR'S CHOICE AWARD -FlyTech Dragonfly received the CES 2007 Popular Mechanics Editor's Choice Award

The fun of Dragonflys So much fun. Bought mine a few weeks ago and I have not put it down. It is so much fun. It is easy to learn to fly but then you can start to do tricks etc and use the more advanced mode that is a bit more difficult, but allows you to try new tricks etc. I looks quite fragile but actually it is very tough even after several major crashes it is still in one piece. FUN FUN FUN is all I can say

Tricky but Worth it I can understand people who have been frustrated trying to get these things to fly but don't give up! First of all I would recommend a fair bit of space to get a feel for the controls and I would say leave the riband on the tail to start with. If you get a dead calm day take it to a field or park. Secondly (and probably the most important thing) do not use too much throttle, just a touch is enough (especially indoors), if you give it too much it will just climb and stall. To start with I would also try... more info
