Good earphones let down by massive hiss when switched on I am in the process of returning these as, although they are good they have a big drawback. - Noise isolation swtiched off - The headphones have good sound quality. The plastic covers on the end of the earphone can be swapped to fit different ears as needed but you only get 1 set of each size so don't loose them. Excellent balance between price and performance! I am a bit of an audiophile, and sound quality is important to me, as is style, performance, and of course price. These phones manage to brilliantly balance all of these factors, in a stylish design. The sound quality is wonderfuly open, balanced, detailed and clear. Used with my iPod touch with equalizer set to 'Flat' the bass is perfect in a product like this, ie detailed and not too thick and deep, and the treble is open and sweet! Worst product ever bought Noise canceling only works if you have have the the rubber ear-buds so tight that hurts. The rubber ear-buds come off so easily that you are all the time looking for them on the floor, in your bag... Any friction any they are off. Replacement of ear-buds are a rip-off for only a piece of plastic. They don't work as normal headsets if battery for the noise canceling element is finish. After few days the clip to hold the noise canceling element broke. Ear-buds disintegrated after a while... more info
Good for background bad for brats! I've no base for comparison but this is a very good product. I do sony products because of their build, innovative ideas, performance and quality, this product is no exception. It was always going to be sony but I duly read up on them anyway and compared them to rivals brands just in case.
