High quality sturdy protection This case is of seriously high quality - the leather has a lovely smooth feel and the interior is nice and soft. The case will definitely keep your ipod 100% scratch free, and the padded leather should protect it from any small bumps and knocks. It also doesn't have an annoying clip on the back.
The only downside is that this protection does add a bit of bulk to the ipod, almost doubling the thickness of my 80GB classic, but I would imagine this is standard for most leather cases.
unfaultable Can't fault this case - looks nice, the leather feels pleasantly pliant and has a good finish - the stitching is a little coarse but does not detract from the overall design. The flip-top with magnetic catch design works very well, allowing full access to the iPod without too much fiddling around and all ports are fully accessible - even headphones with the L-shaped connector fit snugly. The iPod feels secure and I've finally lost that feeling that the all metal Classic is too brittle to accidentally drop.... more info
It works fine... but 1 problem The quality is good and it works fine with only one problem. I sometimes have problems pushing the left and the right buttons within a circular opening due to a too thick leather covering the front panel of the iPod. Perhaps it is OK for small fingers, but for my think manly fingers it would be better with a thinner leather on the very front. Otherwise, it is fine.
Really nice case I bought one of these bundled with a tranmitter and skin. Really nice case, the transmitter works well and the skin is very functional if needed. This case fits very well, but the other comment about the transmitter not fitting whilst it's on are true - I can't plug mine in straight when in the case. But the iPOD does slip in and out easily, so no problem reversing it for use in the car or near a radio.
