  • Excellent!
Works great! I'm running it on Windows Vista 64 bit and it works flawlessly! Plugged it in and I was away!

  • A Good Product
Having just moved to a media centre myself, I was given a Microsoft Media Centre Remote as part of the deal. It's a very nice remote control about the side of your hand (width) and has 30 or so buttons. The light up controls are excellent, but goodness knows why MS didn't go further and make it all illuminating? This is annoying when you're in bed trying to press the red button, or even change channel, as the light isn't as visible on those buttons.
I do like the weight and size of this control, and... more info

  • Better than RF
In a few simple words, fantastic, great range and more responsibe than a wireless RF version I had previously, I can bounce the IR off numerous surfaces and still get perfect results on the PC. It also comes with two extension IR eyes for better IR coverage.
The light up buttons are fantastic, but I do with the numbered buttons lit up as well. Overall, worthy addition to any media PC (I'm using it with Vista Home Premium's media center).

  • No Drama
Few things are absolutely drama free when it oomes to PCs and PC Peripherals. But this is one of them.
Plopped on the mat at 11.00 working on my computer by 11.01.30s (I took my time opening the packet)!
I've still to set up access remote control of the TV, STB and DVD player, but I don't see them being any trouble.
Mine came with two infra-red re-directors (or "IR Blasters") which can be used if the thing you want to control remotely isn't directly in front of you.
