Cracking little thing! Wanted a small, good quality MP3 player for the commute to work. This ticks all the boxes. It's small, easy to use with no proprietary software required - just plug it in to your PC and drag and drop. If you want you can sync it with Windows Media Player but it's not necessary. Don't know what the supplied headphones are like as I use a pair of Sennheisers and the sound is great. So if you want something small and simple, get one and don't pay the premium for a bigger name brand, it's not worth it. Can't... more info
Buy one. I bought one of these players on 27/2/2008 and plugged into my computer where it was recognized straight away. Filled it with music no problem but a couple of days later realized the first track of a album was missing. When i got home i checked a few more and they was all the same, the first track was missing. Took it back the shop, it worked ok. Disconnected my computer from internet and it still didn`t add the first track. Contacted Archos sat afternoon got a reply a couple of hours later, did what they... more info
rough and ready I love this MP3 becuase its durable as hell, great battery life despite the other review. The sound pre-sets are rubbish so will best set it yourself. If you want a simple mp3 there are better options on the market, but I really have no problems with it and will not replace with anything else, I however can only recommend it to those who do not care about fashion styles and lives an active lifestyle.
Video Problems I have tried to play Video and it only lasted 20 minutes. There is no specification for battery life for Video and I have contacted their support three times with no answer from them as to the battery life.
