By using just one spoonful of oil you can make 1kg of homemade chips, which is enough to feed a family of four. That one spoonful is 100 times less than a traditional deep fat fryer, which not only means that your food is substantially more healthy, but it is also more economical and is also 100%safe, unlike some traditional methods of frying.
Simply load up to 1kg of freshly cut chips into the Actifry, drop in a measure of your preferred oil using the spoon provided and set the timer, the Actifry does the rest, just wait for the timer to end and the alarm to sound.
The Tefal Actifry requires no pre-heating, its ready when you are, and better yet, it's not just chips you can cook. The versatile Actifry allows you to cook a range of foods including meat, fish, stir fried vegetables, frozen chips and more. A recipe book is included for more ideas.
The Actifry has an odourless filter which means that your kitchen will stay as fresh as it was when you started cooking.
The steam free lid and viewing window means that you can always keep an eye on your food, although with the food being constantly but gently stirred by the mixing arm, all you need to do is add you ingredients and let them cook. The mixing arm also ensures even cooking of your food.
The automatic lid opens at the push of a button for your convenience.
Once you finished cooking your food, the cover, basket and vanes can all be removed and are all dishwasher-safe. That’s everything you need to wash up taken care of.

tefal actifry absolutely brilliant machine, my father bought one, aswell as myself, and i have been losing weight since buying it!
everything that comes out is tasty, and low fat, ive done all sorts, from chicken portions, chips and casserole, there is no boundaries, i adore this machine, and it cooks food well and very quickly...fantastic!!!
Tefal ActiFry a little gem....... I purchased my ActiFry from Costco for about £103 and I still thought that was expensive for what it is. Although this fryer is good I don't think I could justify paying £150 for it. I always use olive oil for everything and this fryer is no exception. It makes great chips, really tasty and that's without any seasoning...going to try nut oil next time! It's so easy to use and only two parts need to be removed for cleaning purposes and these are dishwasher safe. It's quite large so you will need... more info
Really good. I really like this. I don't find it particularly bulky, in fact it is less bulky than some deep fryers and definitely easier to keep clean. Looks much nicer on your counter top! I used frozen chips in it for it's first use, they turned out really well. There was some breakage of the chips as the paddle turned round, but this gave crispy edges to the finished product so no real complaint there. My only negative comment here is that it does not seem very resilient, ie the plastic lid and some ohter bits seem... more info
Gr8 Buy This is a considered purchase due to the price (this is by far the cheapest i've seen) but it's fantastic. I have turned into a chef since it arrived. No problems to work, clean or store it. the food tastes gr8 and i have tried loads of new stuff (recipe book) and loved it all. If you can afford it buy it.
