The Auto-Transfer option allows this Walkman to search for all your MP3 files in your PC. The software can then copy these files directly to the Walkman. You can also record CDs directly from a Hifi system via USB connection without any PC. Theres also 3-line colour display, a voice recorder (MP3) with a bit rate of low96 bps - mid 128kbps - high kbps. Models with the built in FM tuner have 30 preset stations with a frequency of 87.5 - 108 0MHz with the capability to record & play FM content. The 5 preset equaliser also has a custom setting option

Quality product, easy to use I needed a replacement for my old and low capacity Philips MP3 player. I chose the Sony as I've always been impressed with the quality of their gear. I have to say I've not been disappointed. Sound quality is very good once you've junked the 'phones that come with it. I bought a pair of Sennheisers which improved the richness of sound and comfort. Think carefully if you have Windows Vista I bought the NWD-105 from amazon, as I liked the drag and drop idea, and it appeared to be really user freindly. On receiving the player this couldn't be further from the truth.
It refused point blank to allow drag and drop to work, and Vista wouldn't entertain the auto transfer software. I tried it through the media player, which was the only system on my computer which recognised it as a "walkman" and allowed drag and drop to work, but when trying to access the tracks on the NWD-105 it would find... more info

I bought this for my sister-in-law for her very first mp3 player. I wanted something she'd find easy to use, with no complicated software or anything which might put her off. It can't get easier than drag and drop. Because she had no idea what to do, I had it delivered here, loaded it up with music for her to test, and then posted it to Canada. But I tried it for myself before sending it. For a start, the supplied headphones are fine if you have elephant ears. They were waaaay too big for me... more info
Cheap and understandably so This is my fourth mp3 player. The three previous were all Creatives and all eventually died on me. The MuVos were small and cheap and old and it was no surpise when they started falling apart but I was disappointed by how little time passed before the Zen started falling apart. So I decided I'd go with Sony this time instead, as I've heard they're generally quite reliable.
