Excellent piece of kit for price This is a lovely bit of kit. It has plenty of memory and is easy to use. Decent gear for quite a cheap price.
Impressive little machine This my first MP3 player after falling asleep on my personal CD player and doing it no good at all. I expected the build and sound quality of a Sony to be first class and I wasn't disappointed although I did invest in some Phillips Superior Sound headphones to make the best of it. Like others, I found the capacity a bit disappointing at only 250 tracks and the shuffle doesn't shuffle as it should. Overall I'm delighted with both the player and Amazon's usual superb service.
Random play problems? For hardware design and build, this is fantastic. Major problem though: the random play setting doesn't seem to work. Whatever I do I get certain songs repeating at far more than a probable rate, it is incredibly annoying. I think I've tried all the options so looks like I'm going to request a refund. Currently using it as a portable storage / transfer device - not good.
Good Value for £19.99 Never owned an MP3 player before - really really pleased with this one, especially the sound quality. It does say that it can hold over 600 tracks but at the highest sound quality it is more in the 220 field. One slight quibble is the fiddly nature of the fast forward and rewind button. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it needs a little pursuading but overall I am very pleased with it.
