Live Crows!! Ok this is repackaging of an earlier cd,but if you are a Crows fan then just to hear an incredible live version of "Time and Time Again" is well worth the outlay.
Not so fast... Just to let people know who've read the above reviews - the new Counting Crows album has been delayed until after Christmas, so maybe this album is the stop-gap to give the record company some cash over the holiday season... Is it worth it if you've already got the album? I don't know. I'll just have to buy it and find out I suppose... :-P
Counting Crows The above review misses one minor detail - there is a new album, and it's coming out in November. This however is still a pretty good repackaging of one of the defining albums of the 90s - plus you get a good chunk of new music and a live disc as well. Seems like a good deal to me...
New to the band? Or just craving something new? I've just come from YouTube, where a comment I read filled me with excitement. Counting Crows to release a new album? Wow - it had been such a long time. I'm very disappointed that what I found was a reissue of 94's excellent 'August and everything after' album, with some live tracks. If you're new to counting crows, you're in for a treat, but please don't but this, go for each and every studio album they've produced. But not this.
