Bleak but Interesting Renasis' film captures several citizens of Paris whose daily lives are filled with a quest for love, which unfortunately seems unobtainable. Scarborough to Paris This is one of those essentially inconsequential films that packs a punch (if not necessarily a message). People are busy being quite as unhappy in Paris in the film as they are in Scarborough (or wherever in England) in the play. They are in toxic relationships, failing to identify what they need and how to get it. Tres bien Typical Ayckbourn, well reflected in this French movie. The connection between Alan and Sabine goes back a long time and this has allowed a respectable version of the play to be produced. Sit back and enjoy.
wow i saw this a while back at the arts picturehouse cinema and i thought it was brilliant!!it really captured my attention and i've been searching for it for a long time on the internet, it'll definatley be on my christmas list!!
