a mobile player that frankly isn't mobile I have two creative zen's and bought two more for friends, so I am not hostile to the company as such. But this is ridiculous. The USB cap flies off at a moment's notice, and there is no realistic way of attaching it, besides (as I've done) with glue and thread. A minor but significant annoyance. The more serious problem is that the battery life drains away fast, and there seems no way to prevent it. It is possible to turn the thing 'off', but experimentation has proven that it still burns... more info
Best simple mp3 player I have had my muvo 4gb for a while now, and it is by far the best mp3 player on the market. The storage space is huge and more than enough for any journey either commuting or for longer journeys, and the battery life is more than enough, unless you're travelling abroad you should be able to get access to a usb port to charge it if you need. The sound is excellent through a decent set of earphones, I replaced the supplied ones with a set of Creative's Creative Labs EP-630/A Earphones (under £7 on... more info
Perfect for Gym 1 - This does not have a screen. 2 - This does not need batterys as charges off USB. 3 - You can forward skip by track or album. 4 - Perfect for running / Gym work. 5 - I'd suggest getting the sennheiser headphones as the ones supplied aren't that good.
Are we on the same page? I bought this piece of junk based on the reviews I read here, and I've had nothing but trouble. I could load it easily, true, using media player, but then as soon as the device switches off I lose everything stored on it. Now it has 3 GB of music on it when I use explorer to look through, and says it has nothing when I try to play it. I used their website and downloaded the recovery tool, but nothing works. When they work, sounds like they're cool, but I must have got a duff one, because it's crap.
