  This is a beautiful, stylish movie. Brad Pitt has finally reached his prime and is perfect in this very still, almost dreamlike vision of a man who is tired of living the life he chose. There's a scene where he looks like a majestic buffalo waiting to die. He looks like the end of an era. I kept thinking of the murder of John Lennon. Of course it's really not the same.
