good acting spoilt by silly plots. a series that has great potential to be better than it is.
the courtroom scenes are mildly interesting but the subplots such as the conspiracies surrounding the cases is often plain daft and unconvincing. it just doesn't happen like that in real life.
Still entertaining In the very last episode, Judge Deed says what most of us believe, when delivering his verdict on a case where someone dies in a reality show : 'Celebrity' , the pursuit of the talentless by the mindless. It diminishes all who seek it and all who worship it. He also delivers a shaming speech to some journalists who don't report news but pander to everything that is bad in our society. Great stuff.
