Sony DSC-S730 - battery problem! After reading countless good reviews about the Sony DSC-730 and owning a very good Sony Camcorder, i decided to buy it. Camera looked good, simple to use but after 20 or so pictures and a couple of short videos, batteries ran out. Replaced and same again. 60 pictures - 3 sets of batteries!! Really don't think this is practical, can't possibly carry a batch of batteries every time i take the camera out. Camara going back. Had a cheap Olympus camera before this, took brilliant pictures and batteries lasted... more info
What I wish I'd known . . . Very good camera for the money but it doesn't come with a memory card. As shiped you can store an amazing 7 pics on the camera! You need a Pro Duo card. I bought a 4Gb card (Sony MSX-M4GS 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
)which stores (allegedly) over 1300 pics so you could get away with less. Other than that, very pleased.
Best camera for under £100 When it comes to buying electronics online, I always spend a good few hours (or sometimes days) reading online reviews and this came up as a very good camera for it's value. In fact, it beat many reviews for cameras over twice its price. The reviews certainly were not wrong- and was very pleased by the quality of pictures and ease of use. excellent Camera I bought this Digital Camera , And what a buy, very pleased with the product, easy to use and understand, Excellent picture quality, and pictures easily transfered to the pc, great value for money , and excellent delivery service. i ordered at 3pm and this was delivered at 9am the folllowing day, Great battery life too. I would definately reccomend this camera to anyone thinking of buying a new camera.
