It would be great if I could get this installed If you're a novice, don't touch this product. I view myself as having a reasonable knowledge of pc's and bought this upgrade for several reasons. 1)my windows xp has played up for ages and even though I've reinstalled it it won't let me fully install service pack 3 and 2) I want to be able to provide easy remote assistant to my mother who is on vista, and my husband's laptop is on vista. Annoying siftware! The only thing I want to say is... I really miss XP (which is not perfect, but at least do not make me lost so much of my time). I have had problems installing other software in the Vista operative system, and it is always asking me questions about plug-in and the system is always warning you about the software you are installing. Problem free installation and Vista is great I upgraded from Windows XP expecting problems and having to do a clean installation afterwards, but there were no problems at all. The installation ran smoothly and Vista ran perfectly.
The Windows Update found all the drivers and things I needed to run my peripherals. Every application installed on my PC still works perfectly. I have switched off "User Account Control" because it did prevent me checking email with Outlook and I couldn't be bothered to reinstall it.
