The story is..amazing! I dont know off the top of my head where I heard of Brandi Carlile but I can tell you i dont regret it for a minute. After a few weeks of frustatingly listening to her off YouTube I bought this album and her self-titled album. This album combines folk, rock, country and soul in one amazing package. Late Morning Lullaby I must admit I wasn't too sure about The Story when I first heard it ( it really did take me an absolute age for this album to grow on me and to appreciate it fully ) but I'm glad I stuck with it and it is well worth it in the long run .There are some real gems of songs on here and I am very surprised that she and her band have not been given more attention.Extremely underated.

I have to say that I was blown away by the sound and the performance, so much so that I bought this album straight away without reading any reviews, which is unusual for me. Having read some of the reviews before writing this, I realise there are some very eloquent writers out there who know what they are talking about. Therefore my advice to any readers of this review is to only look at the review... more info
