Fantastic Satnav Garmin Nuvi 255WT - Just Buy One This is a great satnav. I had to drive to several seperate locations from Kent to East London to South East London to North London and back to Kent in a day. I would have got totally lost and stressed trying to rely on maps or printed directions. This unit was brilliant and was spot on and simple to use.
Registered and updated to 2009 maps worked O.K but took a long time, circa 5 hours all together. Had a small problem after the map updates as the unit thought I was in Central London for some reason.... more info
Garmin Nuvi 255WT review Excellent product that does what it says on the tin!
Purchased in a timely fashion from Amazon a few days ago, this is my second GPS receiver. Satellite acquisition is very fast, the screen is very clear and the map detail is adjustable (this was a very important feature for me as I like as little detail as possible to be displayed).

Oh boy what a life saver !! Bought this satnav a week before going to a wedding in Florence. My wife is usual navigator but can't tell her right hand from her left! This item is superb, and directed us to all our destinations with a minimum of fuss. Even if we took a wrong turn, it still took us back and redirected us to the correct or alternative route. Although it sometimes mistook a bend in the road for a turn, eventually we realised what was meant. A bargain I would recommend to any traveller with a dislexic navigator... more info
Clear bight screen, very easy to use, very reliable Sat Nav. SatNavs have come on in leaps and bounds in the past few years. The 255WT is no exception. I have experience with a wide range of makes and models of SatNavs, and units from Garmin always come out top when compared to similar priced products from other manufacturers.
