omg, what a disappointment! i bought this being an avid aerosmith fan, and boy was i in for a disappointment! i bought it thinking yeah, i would easily get to the aerosmith songs i at least knew and liked quite quickly, but no, you have to go through a long way to get there, and omg, i still yet have not come across a song i actually know - am now going to sell it, due to game being rubbish1!!!!!!!
A neat little filler before World Tour. Yes, it's Aerosmith. That alone nearly dissuaded me from buying it but they're a guilty pleasure and when you nail the solo from Run DMC's version of Walk This Way, it still gives that all-important buzz (it did for me at least!). The tracklisting split between the title band and the rest is about 70/30. Along with Aerosmith you get songs from The Clash (hurrah!), Lenny Kravitz (*shiver*) and Stone Temple Pilots (aw yeah...). It's a reasonable selection but unless you're a riffaholic, I'd suggest... more info
Just a filler inbetween gh3 and gh world tour This game is just to fill in the small gap inbetween gh3 and gh world tour and it would be worth just waitning until guitar hero world tour comes out to get a new guitar hero. The graphics aren't very good either and you really do have to be a big aerosmith fan to be able to play their songs.
Disappointing! As a fan of both Guitar Hero 3 (GH3) and Aerosmith I was looking forward to the release of this game with some excitement. Fans of GH3 won't be surprised by the look and feel of the game; as you might expect it's little more than GH3 with different songs and tweaked graphics. The first surprise came when I started working through the Easy career mode. It feels like they've taken Easy from GH3 and dumbed it down, making it even easier.
