  Polish your loafers because Weller's back on form.
  The blue-eyed soul cut of "Have You Made Up Your Mind" is breezy and bright and Weller's throaty soulful vocals carry things with class.
  So far so safe.
  Where things shift from good to very good is the murky, irresistable "Echoes Round The Sun." It sounds strange and vital and re-energised.
  A promising double-lead off for a very promising double album.
  By the way - "Rise & Fall" is the kind of track that in weaker moments... more info

• Weller on top form
  Have you Made Up your Mind is an outstanding soulful track, reminds me of something by Curtis Mayfield.
  Echoes Round The Sun is another great track with plenty of punch, although a bit repetitive. I really hope 22 Dreams has more gems on like these.

  I haven't heard the studio versions of Mr Weller's new single yet, but I heard lots of his new album live at Doncaster Dome last Sunday, including both of these singles. both excellent songs and he is on top form !!
