poor quality Somewhat disappointed by the quality of the optical drive considering the price paid. Its noisey as hell! It just whirls and whirls. I hope the new facility of storing games on the hard drive will eliminate the need for the disc in the drive whilst playing.
Better than I could have hoped for! I've always been a playstation fan and have religiosly shunned anything else, but the wait for PS3's to get to a decent price (not to mention the wait for a steady stream of titles to play!) means i have finally gone over to the dark side...... and it's actually pretty amazing! I never thought i would own an xbox, but now that i do i wish i'd done it sooner! 3rd generation gaming is now where it's at, i can't see my PS2 getting much use for the next 6 months! Great console I have just changed from a PS3 to the Xbox360 and I am very pleased that I did. The PS3 was fine with the Blu-ray player, which I used once the PS was no better than my DVD player which gives 1080p. So I paid alot of money for a blu-ray and games console which I found difficult to use. Now the Xbox360 much cheaper and a far better playing console, the PQ is better than the ps3 and more games . I set it up in about 20 mins and that included getting on line, the ps3 took me 3 hours. Some people say they miss... more info
Great console but... and it's a BIG but... Xbox 360 Console (60 GB Hard Drive)
Having owned 360's since they where released and with Christmas approaching I decided to give my thoughts on this supposedly next gen console. Having just received the red ring of death for the 6th time yes 6th!!! After only 6 months of the console being repaired I seriously doubt the reliability. Considering my latest one was manufactured in 2007 Microsoft have a big problem somewhere with the hardware and don't seem to be rectifying it. Not one of the 6 has lasted... more info
